Έφτασε και πάλι αυτή η εποχή του χρόνου, φίλες και φίλοι. Για άλλη μια χρονιά ετοιμαζόμαστε για τα φετινά Όσκαρ, ελπίζοντας και φέτος η Ακαδημία να μας προσφέρει κάτι εξίσου viral με το περσινό χαστούκι του Will Smith ώστε να μπορούμε να φτιάχνουμε memes μέχρι το Πάσχα.
Στο κινηματογραφικό μέτωπο των βραβείων, βέβαια, πριν λίγο είχαμε την ανακοίνωση των υποψηφιοτήτων από τον Riz Ahmed (<3) και την Allison Williams, φουλ κομπλέ με αμήχανα scripted αστεία και όλα τα σχετικά. Πάμε στο δια ταύτα λοιπόν για να δούμε τι και πώς θα συμβεί στις 12 Μαρτίου.
Ως προς τον συνολικό αριθμό υποψηφιοτήτων, πρώτο είναι αναμενόμενα το Everything Everywhere All at Once με 11 υποψηφιότητες, ενώ ακολουθεί και το The Banshees of Inisherin με 9. Περιέργως, τόσα ακριβώς έχει και το All Quiet on the Western Front, το οποίο αποτελεί μάλλον τη μεγαλύτερη έκπληξη της ημέρας. Κατά τ’ άλλα, ακολουθεί το The Fabelmans με 7, ενώ από 6 μοιράζονται το Top Gun: Maverick και το Tar.
Στις ευχάριστες εκπλήξεις των υποψηφιοτήτων βάζουμε τον Paul Mescal του Aftersun (κρίμα που δεν πήρε και μια υποψηφιότητα Best Picture) και την υποψηφιότητα σεναρίου του Living για τον Kazuo Ishiguro, ενώ στις παραφωνίες συγκαταλέγουμε την υποψηφιότητα της Ana de Armas για το Blonde (λολ), τις τραγικές απουσίες Decision to Leave και Bones and All, αλλά και το απαράδεκτα αντι-κινηματογραφικό σνομπάρισμα του RRR.
